Excellent!
The first word that came to my mind right after finishing this book was 'EXCELLENT' . Not just because of its simplicity and straightforwardness, but because this book teaches you how to be excellent when dealing with people. It shouldn't take you reading 300+ pages to understand how to deal with fellow humans. Socializing is one of our instincts, however, the truth taught in this booklet is essential and worthy of re-reading every now and then.Thank you Les!

The #1 book if you're in human communication
I've closed 700K in documented sales (gross) within 3 years... and this book covers at least 80% of what you need to know about sales and human communication in general. The info builds the foundation that you will base all of your communication skills with people. To me, it's been better, more practical, more impactful than how to win friends and influence people. It's a hidden gem that only those of us who pursue world-class communication keep within our private library and share only with those that are looking to really learn the skill. This book covers topics that people charge literally thousands of dollars for online. I learned about this book when going through a $1000 sales course... that based its entire curriculum... on this book!! lol I found out after the fact. (ouch)Don't make my mistake by thinking you need to pay big ticket prices for world-class information. This book covers a large part of what you need to know about sales and human communication. Highly encourage you to get it, and read it a hundred times. On a side note, I've used what I learned in this book to make more friends in my personal life, get out of my introverted shell, and finally start "adulting." in my social life.

It is more like a collection of imperatives for becoming a better conversationalist
There is something about this book. I just received it about an hour ago and have aready finished reading it. It is more like a collection of imperatives for becoming a better conversationalist: do this, do that, dont do this, dont do that. Each chapter is about 1-2 pages long with 4-5 lessons to it. Nothing extraordinary, it is all well known truth and advices that you probably know from Dale Carnegie or other authors on the topic. However, the format of this book makes it easy read, for quick refreshment of the principles, without the need of additional argumentation behind it. While I agree with the most statements, some of them didn't hit me and few did really stand out. Worth reading just to find those nuggets. Next step is practice and do implement it in real life.

Become A Skilled Conversationslist
This book has been very helpful in getting back to the basics with talking to people, without the use of technology. Interpersonal communication is important in understanding other people and building relationships over resources.

Read this book atleast once a week
Terrific little book. No matter who you are or what you do, this book will help you be better. If you are open to reading concise well written words of wisdom that we all know as common sense. Even though the content of this book was passed down to almost all of us, in some way or fashion, before we entered high school; the way Les Giblin simply lays the words on the page, has an similar influence to suddenly being stuck by a grand epiphany. If our world leader would follow the simple advice in this book, we would live in a much better would. Does Amazon ship directly to the White House?
