Our three year old grandson began playing with this as soon as he opened it! He began by stacking and building with the pieces and then noticed two pieces that fit together to make a picture. That started it! He then began searching for other matches and played on his own for over a half hour! The pieces are sturdy, the pictures clear and the colors cheerful and appealing.

I think these are a great buy. Solid wood, cute designs.Kids have to match up the patterns on the edges so they double up as a fun puzzle.* Made in China. The brand is "Meets dragon dominoes"* Each domino is 1 1/8" by 2 5/16" (6cm by 3cm)* I do not know if paint is safe - there is no information on the packaging. That's why I only gave it 4 stars
