I really like this little alarm clock. It does exactly what I want, with NO extraneous features to complicate matters. Basically it stays totally dark at night unless I reach over and tap the snooze bar. It will then back light the time for about 5 seconds. It has a single alarm that is loud, and easy to set. During the day you can easily read the time without the back light. It is battery powered. It keeps accurate time.I bought this because i was trying to get the bedroom as dark as possible at night to enhance sleeping, but I do occasionally wake up and need to know the time. I did NOT need a cheap sounding radio, an iphone dock, a usb port for charging a smart phone, multiple alarm settings, etc. It does not make fake ticking noises....Sometimes simple is just right - and it is becoming very difficult to find!

I was less than pleased when I opened this product up. I was looking for a wall clock - there is no bracket or functionality to put this on a wall. In addition, one of the digital display areas was discolored, so when one of the numbers appears, it looks like its missing a chunk. I didn't want to deal with returning it because I would have to pay to return it and it wasn't worth it. Its telling me what time it is but not in the fashion I had hoped for. I wanted a wall clock to put on the wall in my bathroom and now this is has settled in the closet where no one can ever see it but it can still function for its purpose: reminding me what time it is.

I found no way to control the light, other than to hit the snooze button. Light comes on for less than 5 seconds. Since I bought it to be able to see what time it was, while watching TV, not very useful. I moved it to a brighter room but, it already has 2 clocks so; now I have to fuss to synchronize them. Yes: anal!

My sister loves this because she can see the time easily.

This clock did not work after putting in 3 new batteries. Got a dud. Also, cannot go on wall as stated.

needs more better instructions...
