Good quality materials. Seems pretty sturdy. The blades for skinny and fat fries are easily interchanged. It's easy to clean. The very first thing I saw pulling it out of the box is a sheet that says, "Does not work on sweet potatoes." This kind of bummed me out, since I didn't see this in the product description (maybe I missed it) and I bought it partly for that purpose. So, potatoes are not a problem, other than the fact that the chamber is a little shorter than your average baking potato. No biggie, though, since you can just cut a half inch off of each end and they fit fine. I actually DID use it on sweet potatoes. I nuked the sweet potatoes for one minute and then cut them in half before doing it. It worked, but I think I was pushing the device to its limits. The suction cup does not work on my rough countertop, but it might on a smoother surface. It isn't that hard to hold it in place while you use it anyway.

I was pretty excited to get this for wife to make home made fries etc. At first I thought she was just not strong enough to use it. But after trying a few potatoes i soon realized this was pretty useless and it hit the garbage. It was like tag team wrestling bashing a potato through it. I really can't understand the great reviews and I usually hate to leave one.

All and all this works as expected, however one thing that could be improved is the suction cup that holds it in place. The suction is not strong enough to hold it in place for larger potatoes. Easy work around is to split the potato in half.

I never knew a potato was so strong. An improvement would be for 2 powerful suction cups to be added to the bottom so that this thing didn't slip around so easily. Maddening, Also, you need to be aware which side of the cutter faces the potato - otherwise you'll never get french fries.

Very sturdy and the extra long handle makes it easier to cut the potatoes. Very impressed!

I like the sturdiness of this product. It appears to be industrial grade. There is no cheap plastic here. The handle is long and gives good leverage and you can really crank down on it. Does a nice job of cutting French fries which I do all the time now for my air fryer. The suction cup is not very effective for me but I don't need it anyway. You can hold it easily with one hand while pushing down on the handle with the other.

This chopper can do just what it advertises it can do. The longer rod gives it plenty of leverage! It does potatoes quick and easy. The suction cup works well on granite and suspect the same on any smooth surface. It comes right apart for easy cleaning. Very satisfied with this purchase!
