Updated to 5 Star Rating -- This Garden Weasel Pro Claw tool was promptly replaced by manufacturer!
Update! I am changing by feedback rating to 5+ stars due to the manufacturer's Superior Customer Service and product commitment! I originally was just going to purchase another Garden Weasel Pro Claw due to mine having broken after one year of use. However, instead I decided to contact the manufacturer and explain what had happened (since the product claimed to have a Lifetime Warranty & Guarantee). The company immediately assured me that they would Gladly send me a New Garden Weasel Pro Claw unit and to just keep the one that had broken as there was no need to return it.Sure enough within just three days I received a Brand New Garden Weasel Pro Claw yard tool via Fed-Ex Special Delivery!Thank you very much for your awesome customer service Renee D. at Garden Weasel Headquarters located in Kansas City Missouri......Here was my original two star posting which I am retracting and replacing with a 5-Star post: This Garden Weasel Pro Claw tool lasted me one year and then one of the four claws broke completely off while tilling dirt this Spring (yesterday). Since Garden Weasel advertises a LIFETIME warranty on its products, what do I need to do to obtain a new replacement? I have a copy of my invoice from Amazon showing my purchase date of May 5, 2017. Thanks...

Broke at first use
Absolute garbage. After 20 minutes of use one of the teeth broke. Poor casting and probably cheap Chinese metal.

Broke after 2nd use
One of the claws broke during the second use. The "metal" claws are not really metal they seem to be a plastic or resin material that is coated so they don't rust but they also snap in two. My wife is not an overly string person but when she was using it in rooty soil one of the claws snapped in two.Could not find replacement claws anywhere so now we are left with a 75% effective tool. :(

Useless in clay
The tool came with no instructions. It has 4 knobs you unscrew and remove to adjust the prongs. Couldn’t unscrew them with my hands or a wrench. Figured out you need an Allen wrench the 1st time you take them out. Wasn’t clear and no instructions to tell you that. The ground in my area is mostly clay. Couldn’t push the prongs into the ground in most places. I’d stand on the pedal and put all my weight on it. Nothing. If it had 2 pedals, I might have had a chance - maybe. In the few places I could get it into the ground, once it was in, I couldn’t twist it, so I couldn’t remove any weeds. I’m returning it tomorrow. Do not recommend it if you’re planning to use it in any soil that’s mostly clay.

Better than other tools but...
I will say that this tool probably gets better results than a hoe or hand trowel. I thought it would be sturdier. I want to buy the 35 dollar one and it kept disappearing in my cart so I had to buy the 59 dollar one. For that price I was expecting something more. It has the same construction as some of my cheaper garden tools. Maybe it is a super material and it will last forever. If you use the tool like the man in the video where you continually push it in and turn clockwise you will get sore. This is not a very ergonomic tool and you can’t use it for more than 15 minutes without a rest. I tried rotating it in an hand over hand method and that helped and I also went clockwise and then counterclockwise to balance my movements. It still makes you sore and after 4 uses I still get blisters on my palms and thumbs even when wearing gloves. I will continue to use it on short intervals and balance my movement to cut down on body stress. I have found after gardening that if you open 2 beers and hold the cans in each hand you may not get a blister.

Disappointing product
I purchased this to be able to weed my garden and areas of my lawn. The "instructions" we're sorely lacking, vague and useless and no illustrations were provided. I eventually figured out there was some sort of arrows on the underside indicating some sort of shifting of the tines required; HOW EVER, the screws for attempting such were as if permanently bolted on, making it impossible to loosen, let alone remove. I consider this a defective product for this reason. I am returning the item because it is of absolutely no use to me as is and not what I was expecting based on the description. I subsequently tried to cancel another product of this brand, as I have little confidence it will meet my expectations after this experience. I would not recommend this product!

Not for me
I got this (my second claw, different model) because I am elderly female but still like to garden, and always look for tools to make the work easier on me. However, this tool requires more strength than I have to get prongs into packed soil and to twist the handle in order to loosen and aerate the soil. I was swayed by the rave reviews.

Weazel Claw Pro - Do not purchase
I bought this item in conjunction with the Cultivator tool and received both at the same time. The LOOK of both is top notch and the function of the cultivator tool works as advertised, but one of the Claw Pro's spikes broke after ten minutes of use with that particular item. The main vulnerability is that the claws are made of a metal alloy that does not hold up to even moderate use. Garden Weazel tools, in the past, were made of solid steel and had no issue whatsoever. I can understand that they are trying to keep costs down, but it should NOT be at the expensive of making an inferior tool for the consumer.
