For all the fun of turning on a light sabre, the sound is spot-on, the main point is this makes dog walks in the dark a *lot* safer.Neighbour's have mentioned how bright the red light is, and my dark bulldog isn't being buzzed by traffic any more.

I bought this as a fun gift for my husbands birthday. It is most effective as a light saber when the dog is walking at full extension so it keeps it out straight, and it makes a noise as you switch it on. I had my doubts about how much it was recognisable as a lightsaber but my husband tells me a few people have commented on it and it raises a smile. It works better now the kinks from being packed in a box have dropped out. It works best when there is not too much street lighting and the light strip it uses means one side of the lead is much brighter than the other so less lightsaber like from the opposing view. If you are out in the dark it certainly makes you more visible. Just dont forget to charge it reguarily.
