They stand up correctly meaning they are not overblown meaning the blow molding process is well controlled I personnally use them for PVA glue and similar fluids in a workshop environments so i can't speak for their water tightness on liquids with very light viscosities, such as water, but I'd stick my neck out and say they'd be ok. They're as sturdy as you can expect from a HDPE bottle, but so far, for me they are still going strong.
