Women's Black Shaper Garter Belt Metal Clip Six-Strap Sexy Vintage Suspender Belt for Stockings

Let's start with what I love: the straps are wide and well made, the metal adjustment clips are easy to use and hold their place even with tugging, the mesh material lays flat under even fitted dresses.What is terrible: the waistband is MUCH tighter than the rest of the material and cuts into me even on the very last hook closure while the rest of it is too big for me on the last closure, the front strap is WAY too long, even adjusted all the way up they just hang loose when my stockings are positioned correctly (and I have very long legs, I couldn't imagine how much worse it is for shorter women), and finally the garter clips appear well made and durable, however, the groove on the rubber piece that is supposed to slide into the metal clip is so shallow that it doesn't hold onto even the lowest denier stockings (there's no way these would hold up to opaque or cotton stockings). Thank goodness there are 6 clips total because when one snaps I MIGHT be able to fix it before the other ones give way. Also, the ridiculous bows on the edge of the straps make it impossible to wear under fitted dresses, even though the rest of the garment is smooth. Yes, they can be removed easily enough with a seam ripper, but the picture on the product I ordered does not have bows at all.

It's very sturdy and grips the stockings well so that they stay up. It's big and covers a lot of the belly, which is good if you're trying to cover gut or stretch marks. But it's plain, not extremely sexy.

I bought it knowing that it might be a little small on me (5'8" 215 lbs), but it's a pretty good fit, just a little snug. The garter clips aren't flimsy and can hold a good grip!

So i got a warm knotted stockings that i thought would stay up but they didnt not whatsoever. I was looking for a sturdy garter belt that has a shape and it wouldnt be juat a flimsy piece of lace that would pull down when hooked. This piece is great. It has and holds the shape, it has great and quality snaps

This arrived with the suspender clip part sewn on incorrectly, meaning the connector clip that you put through to hold the stockings up, instead of being flat against the leg As normal, were sewn upside down. The connector rub against the leg. Not comfortable.Also because the clip is very small and rubber it doesn’t hold the stockings in place. They kept popping. Have worn a garter belt for years. I feel I wasted my money on this.

Great product! My only mistake was listening to reviews that said this item ran small - it does NOT!I'm 165 lbs and 5'6 and ordered a large since my waist measurement is 28 and my hip measurement is 43. The smallest hook closure was still loose around my waist. I should have gone with at least a medium.Great product, but follow the actual size chart and not the reviews when picking a size!

This garter belt is not only sexy and comfortable but it always works to hold up my hose. Many garter belts are only meant to be worn for a short term to show off in the bedroom. I have ordered multiples of these garter belts now to wear panty hose all day at work without worry of losing it!
