Great to use in our pond filtration. Sturdy, good quality. Our pond filtration has four chambers where the water is filtered through so the filters will help the filtration.

This stuff is excellent for canister or hang on back filtering. It wont clog like the finer stuff, and it allows plenty of beneficial bacteria to colonize in it. It's a bit of a challenge to trim to fit with regular scissors, but not impossible. You will need thinner pads for some hang on back filters. The biggest ones you have will be needed. I havent come up with a better way to cut it yet. And tiny pcs. will fall as you cut, so cut it over a trashcan or newspaper. I rinsed mine good after cutting.

So far, so good. Using in Ehiem Filters, with sponge filter pads, for turtle tubs.

Came in the thickness and dimensions promised in the description. It was easy to cut with scissors to the size I needed. I didn't really need 5 of the pads, but at least I won't have to order in for a LONG while to use in other aquarium projects.

I got three filters out of it ! I had brought one! years ago in the black and really liked it and had to buy the white because I couldn’t find the black in the area and finally found on Amazon
