Ordered as a trial to start doing own upholstery. Had not done anything like this before.Staple gun is really hard to manage. It moves when the staples are going into the wood and required both me and my husband to hold it in place to be certain of any kind of purchase where we actually needed the staples to go.The item came with no instructions and the staple boxes provided with the gun appear to be 20 years old. They are different sizes with no indication of how to install them in the gun.Not the best start to doing my own upholstery, unfortunately

Well, first order was returned by the courier marked as damaged so I ordered again. Not only had it gone up in price in the matter of a couple of days but when it arrived, and I finally wrestled it out of the packaging, it turned out to be worse than useless. It was very hard to use and when I did manage to get the trigger all the way down no staples came out. I made sure that it wasn't blocked and tried again but then the entire bottom of the gun fell out from the front and no matter how hard I've tried it won't go back together. If I hadn't thrown the packaging away and could get to a post office I would have returned it. As it is, I've wasted over £17 on a piece of rubbish. If I could have given zero stars I would have. I'm a VERY disappointed Amazon customer and am now wary of buying a replacement (electric) staple gun from them.

I've never used one of theses before and this item didn't come with instructions about which way to turn the screw to get a harder staple into the surface ie which directionBut I have to admit once you get the hang of it this is a amazing stable gun for what I need it for and the quality of the staple gun is amazing and solidI'd definitely recommend

Only a 2 star for me unfortunately, product is robust and u likely it will get accidentally broken. Too many negatives for me though, the rubber grip keeps coming off with use and was frustrating, it jammed quite often probably after every 3/4 staples and worst of all what I bought it for it didn’t do, I ended up bodying it with nails.Shame af first impression was it would be good but the constant jamming did my head in the most

Must admit, theoretically you get a lot for your money with three different types of staple. However, in truth I have probably spent more time unblocking the staple holding shute that actually using the gun, it is very prone to jamming but it is quite easy to un jam it as the bottom unclips from the main body.If you've got a lot of stapling to do over a protracted time I would recommend you spend a bit more.

After I placed the order and pay, the date of arrival has changed!When the product finally arrived I noticed the defect as stated in the pictures. Is seriously misaligned from the main axis making it impossible to use. Total waste of time and money not to mention it will cost me even more to return it as amazon policy do not include free replacement of the defects.

I now wonder what I did before I had this. It is so much fun and with just a small bit of fabric or just fixing something. No house should be without one of these.

The hammer "mechanism that hammer the staples" is imprecise, should be more robust, because sometimes (15%) the staple gets jammed or damaged and did not staples properly. This problem occurred mainly when I was trying to staple the seat on the most flexible wood part, at top of the arc, because the seat is concave, and in the corners where you have more fabric.
