Decent shower curtain rod
Received my Spring Tension Shower Curtain Rod,304 Stainless Steel the other day, which arrived on time, well packed, easy to set up/install, the hardest part of the process was taking off the existing shower curtain & liner & hooks, & then replacing them :)But this HomeHelper Spring Tension Shower Curtain Rod,304 (Stainless Steel) was very easy to install, and as I properly measured to select the correct length for my particular application (I needed a 55" length) the one I ordered(43 to 74 Inch) fit just fine. This item replaced a shower rod I purchased about 5 years ago which also claimed to be "Rust Proof" (simply marketing ploy terms) "rust proof" for How long?.. it's not like I don't mind eventually replacing a rusted shower curtain rod after X # of years, I'd say 5 is about right, so if this rod lasts at least that long (or, ideally longer) for $14 and change, I'd say this was an amazing bargain. It's at least sturdy enough to hold a nice, quality cloth shower curtain with a heavy duty liner, and stay firmly in place, and the rubberized textured ends of the rod seem to adhere to the side walls of my shower, and I've showered a few times since receiving & using this new curtain rod, & it seems to be holding up nicely so far, no immediate signs of buyer remorse, should that change - I'll be sure to update my review, but otherwise, it's a *****5 Star **** Rating from me!

So close!!! One tiny thing that ends up being fairly big as time goes on...
If you told me 20 years ago that when I was 35 I would be sitting in my bed writing an online review for a shower curtain rod, I would have slapped you. And yet, here we are...This rod is so nearly perfect it hurts. Great build quality, holds TIGHT to the walls, and looks great. There is one tiny flaw that gets ever more annoying as time goes on: no plastic spacer. Let me explain:You see, the very nature of how a shower curtain rod works necessitates a seam in the middle of the rod, which nearly every rod I have ever seen compensates for with a little plastic spacer that is sloped on one end so your curtain rings slide over it fairly smoothly. This one, however, has no such piece. Even having metal rings with rollers on them, they still get stuck on it every single time I close the curtain. No big deal the first couple times, but now it's getting old. I'm sure eventually I'll get around to making one myself, but until then...

Lives Up to its Claims
I've had this shower curtain rod installed for about two weeks. Once out of the box, the installation was a breeze. I twisted the rod until it tightened up against the bathroom walls and then used the "further secure / lock end" until it clicked, finalizing the installation. Thus far, super sturdy. I am 100% sure its not going to come down because I live in a high rise near the top floor and my bathroom shower stall has windows, letting in a gusting breeze. When windows are open, the shower curtain flies about some but the rod never budges.Additionally, I live near the ocean and always have the windows open in the bathroom, letting in salty aerosols from the sea sprays and mists. So if this rod is going to rust, I am sure it will not take long before I find out. I'll update this post if it does. Until then, excellent product!

Does the Job
This shower rod does the job. It extends to most if not all standard shower opennings, so I would imagine that most people will find that this fits. It's easy to extend and retract to the shower openning. It is advertised as stainless and definitely feels sturdy and well built. It was able to hold up my curtain flawlessly for a few weeks now and have not seen really any type of rust or corrosion, even with my hard water. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase.

So far, so good
I got this shower curtain rod to replace my old, rusted one I bought elsewhere. It went up easily and as it happens the ends are larger than my old one's were which turned out to be good because a little bit of the paint/drywall ripped off removing the one that had been there for the last three years. This was easy to install and has been holding securely for a few weeks now. I have no complaints and if it can keep this up without rusting it will be perfect! I thought it was worth spending just a little more money for one that was stainless steel. I wish I had done that at the beginning.

Does not fall down
Very plain, which is what we wanted, gets lots of use and does not fall down. Good value.

A spring tension curtain rod that stays in place!
After 2 failed attempts at finding a tension rod that doesn't fall, I found this one. The spring tension is strong and the end that you turn gives that little extra tension needed. Quite pleased so far. Installation was a little difficult for me as I was working on a ladder but I finally got it!

Sturdy and shining
The tension rod is really nice and suitable for my bathroom. It looks very sturdy, smooth and shining. It is very easy to install based on the instruction. I only spent about 5-10 minutes to install it. I hang my towels and some small items on it. It helps my bathroom look tidy and clean. I have recommended it to my friends.
