Takes two or more to put together! Bigger than I thought. Directions a bit vague-read carefully and examine each piece. When completed - it is really nice!!

My living room has no lights in the ceiling, so I needed something for light. This lamp tucks under the sofa and when it's on bright, it lights up the whole area. I love that it can be dimmed as well! My brother has one, and it just turned on and off, so I assumed this one did too, since it was way cheaper than what he spent ($250) so it was a pleasant surprise. I got it within 3 days of ordering it, it came on Christmas eve, I thought I'd have to wait until after the holiday rush. Again, pleasantly suprised! All bulbs are still working, and lamp seems very durable. I'm very happy with the product and the company who sold it.

I ordered this once and when it didn't arrive, I determined that UPS had just sent marked the package "damaged" and did not even try to deliver it to me; they'd just sent it back to the seller. Amazon had issued a refund. I still wanted the lamp, so tried again. This time UPS delivered a ruined mess of a package to me. If I'd been there, I would have refused delivery, but it was just left for me. It was ripped open with pieces spilling out (I took a picture of that package before even trying to pick up the pieces of it).I have no instructions, no assembly hardware, and don't even know if I have all the larger pieces (and some of the ones I did get are pretty banged up anyway).The problem is that there is no real inner packaging to speak of. The base of the lamp is a 20-lb weight that's just tossed into the middle of this 6-ft long narrow box, and that's what ripped open the box. That piece needs to be in molded styrofoam or in a separate box or something; I can't see how any of these get anywhere intact this way. I wish I could attach my pictures of it as delivered here; without that you probably cannot really grasp the inadequacy of this shipping!!I wrote in my complaint: "I'm not really even able to return this -- since there wasn't any adequate internal packaging to begin with, and the long outer box it came in is destroyed, I would actually have to *construct* some kind of packaging before I could send it back. UPS will certainly not take it in its current condition." Amazon replied that I should just "return the item" for a refund!!So....I reiterated my difficulty sending it back, attached pictures of the delivery condition, and again emphasized: "I cannot just hand this to UPS!!! They will not take it!!! I do not have anything close to packaging that will fit this large, heavy item and get it anywhere in one piece! I am not willing to spend lots of my own time and money to create the packaging that the seller should have created in the first place!" I'm now being given a refund and allowed to just "dispose of it."I'm glad to get the refund, but now I have SOME pieces of a lamp, and even disposing of that heavy weight is going to be a hassle. It'll certainly rip through any garbage bag -- I guess I'll try putting just that piece in some other smaller box to throw it out... <sigh>...So, my recommendation: DO NOT BUY THIS!!!I'm going to see if there's something else similar I can get, that might be shipped with actual packaging.

These lights accent my new sectional perfectly. All I gotta say is that make sure you measure the Height of your ceiling before buying cause I had to slightly bend the hanging poles to fit it in my living room cause I'd be damned if I'd return these. There amazing. I would buy these again for another part of the house

I love this lamp. I searched forever to find a floor lamp for my new apartment. Provides TONSSSS of light, but the dimmer lets you set the light how you'd like it. I needed a lamp that would light up a large living room and this definitely exceeded my expectations. LOVE LOVE LOVE

The switch came with defect. I needed to add a new switch to it. Otherwise every thing is OK. Tall and beautifal in my high celling living room.
