For the small price you are ensuring your safety against fraudulent claims from other drivers and could save you big in the end. The resolution is pretty good especially at night for the price (OF course the higher resolution the less recording space). It picks up everything with the wide angle lens. It comes with a mount and car charger, and you will need a normal size SD card on your own. It does loop if you want it to save space when not needed. The charge to this isn’t bad depending on how much you drive. Overall for the price and quality you get, I would recommend this.

This product is poorly made,but for 21 bucks you get what you pay for.Randomly shuts off during recording,making it useless for its intended purpose.Motion detection is a joke,does not work whatsoever.Battery life is absurd,even with full charge it goes dead in less than 30 minutes.Night mode is horrible,video is blurry and no details can be interpreted.Car charger is cheap and crappy also.Dont waste your money on this junk Chinese made gadget.

The Instructions are very bad, at least the English version. After getting into the menu the printed version didn't match up with the actual menu on the screen. I'll probably print up my own instructions when I finally figure out the sequence of actions needed to turn off and on the different functions. I will post another review when I actually get to try this out in my truck.

I've always wanted to have a dashcam so I decided to try this cam. It can record up to 1080p resolution. This might be one of the main positives about this dashcam. At a very low price you aren't going to get the best camera quality. If you're looking to capture license plate numbers clearly or use at night, you're better off with something else. The price in this case matches the quality. You pay for what you get. If you want to have a dashcam just to capture something for fun then I suggest this. If you want it to capture potential accidents or for security reasons, I suggest going with something else.

Least expensive dash cam available here on Amazon, and with surprisingly good quality!I mean this really isn't high tech and it should not be expensive. I just need something that could record road situation (had an accident this past winter). Could really save you more time and money dealing with insurance company in fault determination process.Pros:*great video quality*easy to set and installCons:*The charging cable is designed on the left side of the camera making rerouting to the passenger side a little more difficult*The ball socket design does not lock very well. Can use a little bit of tapeSome other issues I read here:* SD card: I just used a 4GB one I had from 10 yrs ago, works perfect* No charging light: Though it says in the manual there should be a red light coming up when charging there really isn't. But still charges fine and you can see the battery level after turning on the screen.

You get what you pay for. Cheap camera does not work very good. Turns on and off when it wants to and hard to review playback. I do not recommend this camera. Save your money.

Now I will have actual footage of any accident! I like that the angle is really wide so you can actually get a real good and reliable video transmission. It is very easy to assemble and has a very bright shot at nighttime. Recommended 100’%

My unit came with no manual... I figured that it really couldn't be very hard to set up anyway.. Not a chance! Even people who had the manual had problems. After dorking around with this, popping the memory card in & out a dozen times to try to format it on my computer as i couldn't figure out how to do it on the unit itself, the crappy little tab that supposedly locks the SSD card in place just fell off. The on-screen indicators make no sense whatsoever; What appears to be a gasoline pump, a Tide Pod, a Gmail logo and a sun? huh? ... And the seller never did send me a link to the 'manual'.. Buy something else that works.
