The last pedal before going to the return. This works great, as the drum sounds only go to the power section of my amp keeping the sound clean and undistorted. If you are cranking the power section you would end up breaking up a little, but I use it for practice at low volume and still get oodles of gain from my pre amp on my guitar with a nice clean drum sound on the same amp and cab.
