Smells nothing like sandalwood
I should have heeded warnings of some other reviewers who stated it did not smell like sandalwood - they are correct, it smells nothing like sandalwood. Not sure if the wrong item was sent as the containers themselves are not labeled with the scent. Only the cardboard box it came in has a tiny sticker stating sandalwood.I did not even burn the candle. Just smelled it upon opening the lid and it smells nothing like sandalwood - really disappointing as it is one of my favorite scents and would have liked to have a candle with that scent.The tin cans are very nice, the price was right, the packaging was nice - just didn't have the correct scent. Am returning these.

Good
It is a good candle, but not great. The second one I lit, it was down to the last of the wax and was a rolling fire in the container. Had to throw water on it to get it out and the fire alarm went off. Be sure that you watch it because the flame does get high.

Not a strong scent, burn for a long time.
I like these candles. They burn a long time. Only negative to me is I don't really smell anything from them burning or otherwise. My husband says they smell good. Maybe it's just me.

Sandalwood, not the best scent
Ordered these candles because they were a wonderful deal and I'm always on the lookout for new candles. They came beautifully packaged and well secured in the box, however I was not pleased with the scent. I learned that "sandalwood" is not a scent that me or anyone in my family liked so I immediately sent it back.

Smells like a musty old book store
Cute tin, but I did not care for the scent. I bought the sandalwood, which i was expecting to be a soapy/cedar/patchouli scent. This sandalwood smells like a musty old bookstore. So if that’s your thing, this is your candle.

No odor at all.
These candles have no odor. I was hoping for anything that smelled like sandalwood but quite honestly it’s more like an Unscented candle. The positive attributes are the tin and that it is soy.

The presentation of these candles is all I can give a positive nod to. They are otherwise disappointing.
