KCmart Hot Sale Unique Blue Bougainvillea Spectabilis Seeds Perennial Bonsai Plant Flower Seeds 50 PCS

They have just started growing (10 days old :) ) so it's way too early to say if it is a blue bougainvillea. That determination will take several weeks. There were at least 100 seeds, so the quantity was as promised or more. I've only had 6 seeds germinate out of say 40 seeds but I'm a novice so I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly. From what I've read, I need to give them another 2 weeks to see if anymore germinate. Once I have a grown plant, then I can propagate them by cuttings rather than seeds.

Part 2: It’s a scam. The plants started to bloom this week and they’re bright pink Sweet William. I like Sweet William, but bright pink Sweet William are not Blue Bougainvillea. I wonder why the sellers would even bother with this kind of scam. I only paid $10.00 + a couple bucks shipping. I can’t see that they’re going to make any great profit off something like this. Assuming Blue Bougainvillea really do exist, I’ll keep searching for a more reputable source. Review Part 1: I bought these about a year ago and they languished on the kitchen counter for 10+ months. I finally got around to starting them about 6 weeks ago. After reading some reviews I figured I'd be lucky if even a few germinated. I laid half a paper towel on large plate, spread at least 100 seeds across it, folded over the other side of the paper towel and dripped water until the towel was fully wet. I kept it wet and within 2 days the seeds started to sprout. Within 5 days I knew that at least 80% of them were making a go for it. At 10 days I cut the paper towel into thirds, put them into the 3 available pots I had, and kept them watered. For the last 4 weeks they've grown steadily. Yesterday I got 10 very small pots and divided up the seedlings into those as well as kept some in the 3 original pots. It looks like I still have at least 70 of these guys spread amount the 13 pots, so I'll let them duke it out with each other and will come back in a few months to update this status. Fingers crossed they truly are blue bougainvillea.

I received seeds. Some plants sprouted and grew. They are similar to carnations. Not bougainvilleas.
