Hasegawa Ladders Slim Step Stool, 2, Black

This thing is great. Very sturdy. Super easy to fold, carry, and unfold (my 7 year old daughter uses it all the time). Great looks. Take up very little space when folded. Only thing to watch out for is the size. It's bigger than I thought it would be (despite looking at the measurements and even using a measuring tape to get an idea how big it would be in our apartment). But, somehow, it's just bigger when you get it in person (at least in a small-ish NYC apartment). But, that also gives you nice big steps to stand on, etc. And again, very thin when folded. But it's probably not the kind of ladder you will want to leave standing out and open, unless you have a pretty big area.

I love this step stool. Very slim so it fits in a tight space and stands by itself when closed, feels very sturdy, very easy to unfold and, most of all, the design is very sleek and beautiful. I have it in a closet and if I need to sit for any reason like to put on or take off boots, the top step is wide enough to be a comfortable seat. So it is a step stool AND a seat.

I can't believe I spent this much on a little step stool, but I wanted one with two steps that would fit under the counter, next the the fridge so my options were fairly limited. It's nice and light and sturdy, and fits in the narrow space between the counter and the fridge. It's really easy to open and close- no fiddly levers or buttons to unlock it or anything like that. Very simple and well made.

I did feel slightly ridiculous spending that much money on a stepladder, but I wanted stepladder that wouldn't be an eyesore if I left it around the house, and would be easy to move around. I'm very happy with this ladder - the design is very sleek and beautiful and it is very easy to use. Feels very high quality and sturdy.

Stable, sturdy, easily stored and easy to use. I now have three of these in different areas of the house where a step ladder is really useful.

1- It is too loud to open2- I installed magnets to keep it upright on the side of the cinet. (they work great)3- Nice and sturdy but too loud!

best step ladder ever, so well made and beautifully designed. folds up very compactly and feels so safe to use. I'll never get another kind of stepladder. expense was well worth it, will last forever. highly recommend.

I am a short person with a small kitchen so I needed something to help me use my upper cabinets. This step ladder folds up small enough to fit at the end of my counter but is light enough to pull out and use easily.

As described - stylish (well, as stylish as you could hope for a step ladder!) and folds super slim.

Very nice product - super stylish, light, thin when folded, and easy to open and close.Was looking for a step ladder which I am happy to keep in my beautiful kitchen rather than a cheap “designed only with functionality in mind” stuff.It is pricey but worth what you pay.

We love the big steps on this ladder. Pulling down boxes & bulky items is not a balancing act.

Absolutely superb. Highly recommend for indoor applications - it looks great.
