Christian Dior: The Early Years 1947-1957 Hardcover – January 1, 2001

I own a lot of Dior books and this is one of my favourites. The best thing about this book is the copies of Dior's original sketches placed next to the finished garment. You can almost see his thought process. The photographs of himself and his atelier at work, of the shows, and the mourning of his untimely death give a beautiful insight to the life of this amazing man.

Esmeralda is great story teller. The text uses human dramas and detailed character stody to tell the story.Good work!George SantanaAuthor
