The town in this show is VERY flammable
This is a fun show. The tiny fireman wannabe in my life LOVES this show, It's toddler friendly. The animation is simple with lots of bright colors.None of the themes are too 'big kid' for the little ones.I love watching this with my toddler as we have a great time making the fire engine sounds together and rooting for the firemen to do their job and help people. The show is hysterical because the voices don't seem to match the characters. Like a small child will sound sound like an old British man, and a grey haired character will have the voice of a child. It's mildly amusing for that reason. The town they all live in is a tinderbox though. These people need a lesson in fire safety. They set EVERYTHING on fire!

Great show for little boys
Great show for little boys! My 6 and 3 year old boys love this show and I like that they can now watch a whole season instead of just a movie. Since this not on nexflix my boys where watching the same fireman sam dvd over and over again now I don't have to listen to the same episods over and over again. If your kids like Bob the Builder or Thomas the Train the probable will like Sam too. Same type of show expect he is a fireman saving the people of a small town. My 6 year old is starting to grow out of Thomas and Bob but he still enjoys watching Sam with his little brother.

This is an adorable show!
This is an adorable show!! It's short (approx.10 min) so it can hold the interest of my 3 year grandson. He loves fire trucks and firemen!! There is always a message of fire safety but it's done in a simplistic way for young children to understand. The children in the show are of different nehaviors as well. Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don't so the kids can see the consequences of not listening. There is always a happy ending which is good when you're 3!! I highly recommend this program--- ALL the seasons!!!

My boys love each episode of Fireman Sam and we have seen ...
My boys love each episode of Fireman Sam and we have seen each season at least twice. I like that they are short. But in some cases it seems like the characters do things that are really not good in order to have the set-up to call the Fireman Sam. I think Sam could do a better job being specific on what to do different to not have created the unsafe condition.

Entertaining and Educational
My five year old granddaughter really enjoys watching this series. After I introduced her to a couple of episodes to go along with Fire Prevention Month of October, she asks asks to watch more episodes. Her choice of what to watch at home was Fireman Sam but she was disappointed because their set up does provide it.

Very good learning stories for kids 2-4
Very good learning stories for kids 2-4. I previewed this series and subjects such as honesty even though it costs, admitting when you are wrong, apologizing, manners, hard work ethics, teamwork and so much more are included in this series. Now, it is among his favorite shows when he is allowed to watch his 45 minutes of TV per day.

Strange accents. A town filled with morons. What's not to love?
My 3 year old daughter is OBSESSED with this show. And I gotta admit, I kinda like it too. It's basically an accident-prone fishing town that's filled with expats trying to leave the past behind (you try to explain why everyone's got a different accent). And they all need Fireman Sam to rescue them from some emergency...be it on land, in the air, or at sea. --Not the other firefighters, and especially not the one who's a certifiable nutcase...and also looks like Ben Affleck. The worst citizen of all is young Norman, a mischievous little tyrant from a single-parent household. He -like all the other kids- remains constantly unsupervised and his bad deeds are often left unchecked. Well, there was that one time that he had to wash a car for locking everyone out on the roof of a lighthouse, forcing a man to dangle for his life after a failed attempt to rappel down. Oh that Norman!I should say that my husband hates this show. But I don't find any part of it offensive. Except Mandy's accent. Is she supposed to be a New Yorker?

Great for toddlers and elementary school children
My three grandsons, ages 3 to 8, love this show. The stories are short and keep their attention. Sam always saves the day! We have watched it for the last few years, first on Netflix and now on Amazon. I liked the accents on the original shows, but maybe this is more inclusive with having a variety of accents.
