Synopsis Stanley doesn't know much about horses but is happy to help Old Albert get his horse, Comet, ready for the Shire-Horse Parade. Stanley goes to the show and has a day full of adventure, he even ends up riding Comet and winning the showjumping event - all by mistake of course! About the Author Bob Wilson was born and brought up in Stoke-on-Trent and still lives in the area. He has been a design editor, a musician, a lecturer, a cartoonist and a playwright. He is very well-known for his STANLEY BAGSHAW books. Bob lives in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.
