My favorite among many water filters I own.
This filter is only slightly more heavy than my MSR Mineworks yet it filters much faster and clogs up less. I have owned this filter, the MSR Mineworks, Sawyer mini filter, and the Steripen for several years. This is my favorite filter of all the others I have owned. This filter is the fastest and has the highest flow rate of any other filter. It is also highly rated for how well it filters water. I like that it can serve as a filter for a large group of people when backpacking. I have mostly used it on clean mountain streams when backpacking. I like using filters rather than just a UV light filter such as the steripen because you don't have to drink any floating gunk in the water even if it is "purified". Highly recommended. Not as cool looking as some of the other filters designed for backpacking but this one is great!
