The document bag fit my needs perfectly. The Houston area, where I live, has experienced several hurricanes and flooding events, and sometimes evacuation becomes a necessity and has to be done in a hurry. The document bag is vastly lighter, has the qualities of fire and water resistance, (not to the same degree or duration as a 40 pound safe, but the level of protection from water ingress and thermal damage is certainly at a good enough level) and now holds all the items I formerly had in my safe, with room to spare! In the event of an evacuation of is now far easier to grab all important items along with a few more things and be ready to go. Additionally, it is perfect as a Courier case, and can easily be a carry on in any airline. So far the document case is holding up well and seems to resists wear and tear effectively. If it holds up for a longer term, which it is giving every indication it will, I will certainly be buying more of these.
