The size is exactly what I was looking for. The blade is thin and has nice balance of flexibility and heft. The handle is finished beautifully and feels really nice in the hand. I was disappointed in the finish of the blade edges. They were rough and sharp. Seems not by design, more like slightly ragged edges left from stamping during manufacturing. I cleaned up with some 1000 grit emery and now very smooth, However, DIY finishing should not be required at this price point - otherwise would be five stars.

I like the size, very versatile.

Moderate/high price points and hand washing required. But, a very nice lifetime quality utensil. We now own two: one for the kitchen and one for the RV.

Great for fish

The metal is flexible & thin, yet completely adequate for normal cooking tasks (like flipping eggs hamburgers etc.). The handle is a high-quality hard/dense plastic (not the PVC everything else is made of). I was surprised the directions said to dry it off because it is stainless steel. I asked the seller why, and the answer was that carbon had to be added to the steel for tempering (that’s how you get thin / strong / flexible metal, but the trade-off is that corrosion resistance is apparently not quite as good a SS spoon or a fork).. So, like those expensive kitchen knives it’s a good idea to dry this metal off. That being said some of the reviewer’s have soaked these in the dishwater without problem. I’m wondering if it’s dishwasher safe (anyone?).

At first I didn’t like it, it wasn’t the same as the one I use. After using it for a couple of months I think I will get another. I like cooking with two. Sad to say, I don’t like my old one as much anymore. If I had a complaint it would be that it’s got a shorter handle than my others. Not a big deal unless your hands are close to a flame like a bbq grill.

Very flexible and perfect size. Good quality is worth it!
