I was a tad dubious about the quality & manoeuvrability of trough given how incredibly cheap it was…I needn’t have been concerned, it is brilliant. While, yes, of course, I wish it was made of recycled plastic, you can’t expect miracles at that price. It took 9L of coco/coir and 20L…ish of compost to fill it but it was still manoeuvrable (I couldn’t lift it, of course but I think a healthy person with muscles that don’t look like knots in a string of sausages could quite easily). Needless to say, I filled it near where it was going but found it was easy to push it into its final position! I now have healthy tomatoes, beetroot, peas and a cucumber plants growing in it…had some lovely raw peas instead of crisps last night…yum!! Hard to say exactly due to the tapering, but it'll be in that range. **Q: How many litres of soil did it take to fill this please ? No need to answer if you don't know. Thank you.** A: I used just over half a bag of 50 litres of compost **Q: what is the measurement of these?** A: Length = 55cm. Width = 27cm. Height = 23 cm. I'm very pleased with them. They hold two well grown herb plants. **Q: Can you fill these with water, I’d like to make a water feature** A: I think I had to punch holes in them before planting. I ordered 2 but had an issue with one as the carrier had damaged the box. Customer service were superb and everything was resolved in quick time. Despite the problem , I would certainly purchase from this seller again.
