These chains were a bit tricky to install, as are most chains, but fit nicely and make all of the difference in traction on snow and ice. Not sure whether I needed chain tensioners but, distrusting the rubber bands with the plastic hooks, I picked up some springs at my local Ace Hardware to prevent possible slippage on the tires. The chains fit well enough that this might not have been necessary, but I would rather have them and not need them than need them and not have them. By the way, one of my concerns when shopping for chains was the minimal clearance between the inside edge of the tires and the body of the snow blower. The links on these chains are small enough that there is no problem with clearance, but are still large enough to provide plenty of traction. Need I add that the price is right on these bad boys?

These chains actually fit! I purchased the chains for my snowblower tires. My tires r 4-10-4, meaning the rims r 4", the circumference is 10" and the tire is 4" wide for those of u that don't know the meaning of the above. The code that I used for these chains is 1060456. I found it very difficult to find the right code, but when u click on the code and then scroll down u will find the tire size to fit. I installed these myself. I am a mature female and didn't find them difficult to install. I took the top off of my gas lid put a plastic bag over and closed it back up, then I tipped my snowblower (forward) onto a medium size wheel chock, also put another wheel chock on the back so that it wouldn't tip back and laid the chain on the tire, turning the wheel and fit them on that way. They were nice and snug, with only1 link left before pinching the link closed. I only gave this a 4 star because I don't know how they will work until we have snow for me to try these out on. My intension is to let u know how they worked.P.S. I am letting u know how these chains worked in the snow. I only got to use them once due to the lack of snow that we got and they did exactly what they r supposed to, it stopped my tires from slipping and spining. I recommend these chains. I have a suggestion for this company, make it easier for your customers to find the right size of chain for the tire size. It is a very vague description.
