Easier than most to get on but still put a few on in nice weather. Getting off are hard if you don’t follow the directions exactly. I wrapped them around a post in my house first. Took 10 minutes to get the hang of getting it off. Then went to car. Getting in is very easy. Once you get the hang of it getting off is also easy. They do work also in snow. I’ve not tried in mud or sand. Consider buying two pair (if you have AWD )for all 4 tires if you plan to drive in really bad weather. I have one order and just put them on my front two ties.

these chains are the most terrible things I've ever seen in my life I would never buy another pair of these and I would never buy anything like this ever again they broke they did not work well and they also broke my mud flap on my Toyota Tacoma

You must keep in mind that you have to make sure you have no brake lines being caught in the chain strap. They don’t tell you anything about that instructions and when you’re installing them usually in cold weather that is the last thing to think of. It is very easy to put on but it’s harder to takeoff because of the freeze factor and the strap and a hardware bent easy

They work well to get you out of trouble when you are stuck in snow or ice. Very easy to put on and to use. Director are easy to understand along with the Y-Tube video. Also Customer Service is outstanding. Had a issue and they handled quickly and I and very pleased.

Broke the first time I used them. To be fair, they are easy to install and work reasonably well, so not a bad thing to keep in your trunk for a single use emergency. But if you anticipate heavy use, avoid these and invest in a quality set of traditional snow chains. Also, not the easiest to remove after use - you have to us pliers.

I haven’t used the product yet as I bought them for use in an emergency. The chains look to be heavy duty.

The chains were applied on different vehicles and had same results. The chains did not last 2 miles before coming off. The clasp was weak and came off a few before we exited our sub division.Lots of snow.

I tested these chains by driving my truck into the snow with just the tires until I got stuck, then I got out and put these chains on my back tires only. With the chains on, I was able to drive out of the snow and back to the plowed road. I'm happy that these chains were easy to put on, even in the snow that I was stuck in. The chains tighten down very good and stay close to the tire, keeping good clearance in my wheel wells. I like the carrying bag they come with as well, keeps them tidy in the back of my truck. They would work well on a snowy and slippery road for extra traction. I like having them in my truck so I know I can use them to get out of a tricky spot or up a slippery winter road/driveway. The quality is good and the company was great to work with!

Almost completely useless. Tried using them to get my truck moving today. Even with sand down on an icy hill these chains were useless. I've had similar chains in the past but the chain part w used much larger chain which would improve their bite. The metal spacers folded and some of the plastic bits fell if with the first use. Save your money and find something more substantial.
