One of my favorites....While they lasted!
I absolutely loved these Monitors while they lasted. These quickly became my daily driver, but these absolutely need an Amp. Be prepared..My only complaint is their flat cable. They catch and drag on everything. Putting uneeded pressure on their Monitors and plug. I'm not surprised at all they went out with the drag on their flat cable at 3 months.I would give these five stars if not for going out and their flat cable choice.

Sound very good for the price...cable is too grippy...right earpiece died after 100 days
I purchased these in early August, and now in late November the right side just died. At first I had to hold the wire in a certain position and I'd still get sound, but eventually that stopped working too.I would have awarded 4 stars if they still worked. The sound is very good for the price - balanced, clear, not too much bass. My main complaint is the cable. It's got a rubbery covering which has a lot of friction...it's "grippy" meaning it seems to grip on everything, rather than just dragging over things. Sometimes I'm just sitting there on the train, and I turn my head and feel a TUG on the earpieces. The cable is so rubbery and grippy it just won't slide across some material like a backpack or jacket zipper. This is occasionally irritating, but I was willing to live with it. Strangely, they give the impression of being very durable, but if the earpiece dies from typical use I guess you can't call them durable. I'm waiting now to see if MP4nation will fulfill their 12-month warranty.

these iems were highly regarded as high quality and great sounding.
So i bought these IEM's after lurking on the head-fi forums and reading reviews all over the internet. After much search, these iems were highly regarded as high quality and great sounding.... AND they don't disapoint! These iem sound great and were delivered to me quickly, but sadly they broke after not even 2 months of use... so i guess not so high quality, but they do sound amazing.

Reference-esque Sound for the Masses
The B3 from Havi is one of the best values for a reference-style IEM I've ever heard. In a time where most IEMs being sold for under $100 are tuned for the masses (i.e. V-shaped sigs that are easy to drive) the B3s refuse to conform. Here we have a dual-driver IEM that gives the budding audiophile a chance to get in on the neutral sound game.SoundBass - Tight, textured, and fast. Bassheads should certainly look elsewhere. Anyone wanting to get bass as it was recorded presumably in studio can rest assured. The B3's deliver.Mids - Rich and in place. Neither forward nor recessed. The mids are very lifelike in they're portrayal of texture and detail. Vocals sound excellent as do keyboards and guitars.Treble - Where it's at. No treble boost or extra zing here. Just clean, airy, spacious upper end that effortlessly handles the upper range of the violin in a string quartet as well as the jazz ride cymbal.Separation/Imaging/Soundstage - Best I've heard in a sub-$100 IEM. Period. Details are retrieved effortless and as such, imaging is quite natural. The soundstage on these guys is just excellent - very out of head.Aesthetics & ErgonomicsThe look of the B3 is pretty unique, what with it's pseudo-balanced cable design, red and black color scheme, and gorilla-glass faceplates. I like the cable/Y-split/strain reliefs, although some mention that they have an unpleasant memory effect. The only gripe I could think of for these guys in the awkward size and shape of the housing. It's a little on the large side and doesn't fit in my ear particularly easily. Not uncomfortable per se, but I'm definitely not going to fall asleep with them in anytime soon.DriveabilityA word about the B3's power needs. Yes.Feed the beast! They can be driven from a phone but if you want to up the bass, and further widen the soundstage, give em some juice! Fed mine with the budget iBasso offering, the D-Zero with excellent results. Just for fun I even plugged 'em into my Pan Am and certainly enjoyed the soundstage the Mullards offered :)ConclusionIn conclusion, I'll say what I said before. If you want to get away from boosted bass/treble sounds that play well with electronic and pop music but hang classical and jazz or prog out to dry, look no further. The B3 Pro I from Havi is a giant-killer in this niche and should be seriously considered by anyone looking to hear what their records sound like before a bunch of digital enhancement.

These Havi B3 headphones are not 'the best'. The Sound is very narrow
ok, not sure who is writing all those raving reviews, but these Havi B3 headphones are simply not good. The Sound is very narrow, mostly peaked around higher mids, low treble. There is some bass, but it's very non-selective, leaving the music quite live-less.I tested these with variety of music styles, classical, rock, jazz, r&b, eurodance, metal. They all sound similar with these, similarly poor. The acoustic guitar is missing lower part of frequencies, violin, trombone, chello are week, piano sounds dead. I tried listening using iPod, Iphone, Sony pmp and laptops, and just could not enjoy them. Sound is two stars out of 5.So how do they compare to other earphones? Honestly, comparing these to a $100 pair of phones is an act of crime. My RHA-750 or Denon C751 are miles and miles away in terms of soundstage and frequency width. I am not a bass head, but low mids are enjoyable when listening to male vocals, and Michael Buble and Laura Pausani with Havi B3 sound flat like from old radio. You may argue that a comparison should be made with similarly priced phones. To that my answer that my under $40 woodees phones are 2 steps ahead in sound representation and balance. I do admit that B3 sound better than bunch of old no-brand cheap earbuds in my drawer, however the standard iphone 5 buds bring same or more fun if fit properly (they are very difficult to fit in your ear to achieve that though). The strong side of B3 is how they fit. They are light and ones put in your ear, they stay there. i have to say I get very good ambient noise isolation, that's why I feel they deserve 2 stars. And finally, the cable looks pretty thin, plasticky and cheap. The distal part of it is a flat 4-wire strip, like a computer cable, and I doubt it could be durable. In summary, B3 is NOT the best sounding earphone under $100, but is easy to wear noise isolating earplug that sounds like $20-$30 product.
