One great kettle... I love it!
I love this kettle! It is the biggest, shiniest, most beautiful thing! It heats the water much quicker than my old one which is interesting because it's much bigger and holds so much more. It's good to use the scrub side of the sponge to clean the inside, but be careful when you wash the outside to use the soft side of the sponge or a cloth. I made the mistake of using the scrub side on the outside and though I didn't rub hard I can see where it caused some abrasion, but it still shines. The handle doesn't get very hot if you pick it up as soon as it starts whistling but it will if you leave it sounding for a minute or two. At least it doesn't for me but I have asphalt hands lol. The whistle works all of the time. It starts out soft but your neighbors will know you're home if you leave it for too long because it absolutely screams at full boil. This was a wonderful find for me. I was in search of a larger kettle that holds a good amount of water because I drink a lot of tea. I grew annoyed with constantly having to fill up my old kettle. It is a bit heavy but considering the size and the amount of water it holds it's still easy to handle while pouring. Because of the weight even though it's easy to handle I wouldn't recommend this for an elderly person or anyone who has a problem lifting heavy objects, but for anyone else this thing is a total dream if you drink a fair amount of hot drinks.Note: After more than a year or more of daily use multiple times a day the lid began popping off once the water got hot. It wasn't a big problem because I always made sure the handle was straight up so the lid would hit it and flip over in place. I checked and found little notches on the side of the lid where it goes down inside the pot. I simply used a small flat head screwdriver to pull reach one out a bit and it solved the problem. Because it's a solid little kettle it held up.Definitely worth the money!

BIG Heavy Tea kettle
This is great if you need a lot of volume hot water. But completely full, it is fairly heavy. Not a Tea kettle for the elderly or a child. The handle moves to the side which is nice, but seems to be welded poorly. I hope it will last. Something to know also, the Infuser makes the lid closing tightly impossible, so I took it out. I don't use those anyway so for me this was not a concern.

Great for making ice tea
Seems to be sturdy and no rust so far. We do allow the pot to dry out between uses. We have used it on a powerful outdoor gas stove with no problems, but also works well on our old indoor electric. Whistle is loud enough for us to easily hear. We use this pot to make large batches of ice tea. We buy good-quality, loose tea in bulk. The included tea basket is perfect for brewing. Once the tea is cooled, we add lemon and a bit of sugar.

BETTER LUCK THAN I
I like everything about this pot but... If I fill the water to just below touching the infuser, mine won't whistle.

So far, so good
I like this capacity. I haven't had it long enough to have much of an opinion, though.

great tea kettle
I love this tea kettle! I drink lots tea and coffee and use a tea kettle everyday. Sometimes a couple of times a day. This is a very large sturdy tea kettle. --I use them and have to replace about once a year. It is very sturdy. If you enjoy loose tea it has a mesh filter to make in pot. I would recommend to a friend. If you are needing a tea kettle this will fit the bill.

Ehhh maybe ?
The tea pot is very large that's the good part. My tea pot looks used there are scratch on the surface and dried sticky tea around the poring spout. Debating weather to return it, it was supposed to be a gift for my mother-in-law.

Don’t bother
I bought this tea pot a month ago and gave it to my wife as a Christmas gift. We’ve used it daily since 12/25. I love it’s size and the tea filter it came with. Today while I gave it a grood scrubbing, I noticed the inside has begun to rust on the bottom outer edge. Did I mention it’s been a month?! I’m very disappointed in the quality.I contacted the seller and received a last luster response stating that my request was outside the standard 30 day return window.
