We love this clip-on lamp so much we've bought 3 of them. Good price. It's a nice size, but would not be suitable for use as a book light because it's a bit too large for most books. The clamp is rather big. It's better suited for clipping on to a desk edge or headboard or table edge. It also balances (with a little adjustment to the neck) well on top of a desk or nightstand, etc. I like clipping it to my lapdesk. Very convenient. Three lighting options let you choose your brightness level. It's a white light--not amber. It works wirelessly, and it was charged when it arrived. We used it right away without having to charge it. You can use it while it's charging. It does take a while to charge and it comes with the cord but not the plug. FYI. But it's standard sized so you probably already have the plug from something else. The instructions say it gets hot and to watch out. I bought it for a minor and that worried me. But it does not get hot, so maybe they are being extra careful. I've bought other booklights/clip-on lamps before. This product in white is my favorite. Well constructed. Smooth finish. Easy touch on/off. Great lighting and flexibility. You can arrange the neck however you want--in a loop, backwards, facing up or down, etc. Lightweight. Carry it from room to room. I've even used mine as a flashlight at times because you can set it on any level surface. Highly recommended!

This is a great light for the price. I bought it for $12 when it was a Lightning Deal. It is really very bright on the highest setting. I use this with my bed tray table that I draw on. It lasts a decent amount of time. About 6-8 hours on the highest setting before it starts dimming. The touch controls are a little frustrating at times because any light touch will activate it. My only other two complaints is that when you have it plugged in, the light is brighter than when you use it cordless and also I wish it came in black so it would match my desk. I recently ordered a different rechargeable light in black that was twice the price of this and the brightest setting on that light was equivalent to the first setting on this light. I’ve returned it and I’m continuing to use this one. I’ve had it for about 8 months now and haven’t had any problems with it.

The light is certainly bright enough to read by and last much longer than expected before needing to recharge. It looks sleek enough (got the white one). I am considering buying an extra one to have on my guest room since it has a convertible couch and no night stand as it is normally the kids play room. Will see how long it last but it serves me for a year or more I'd say this was money well spent.The only think I would improve is the control. It has single touch capabilities. It goes off -> dim -> bright -> brightest -> off.Would be better if a long press would turn it off without having to cycle to the brighter settings. Alternatively it should be off -> brightest -> bright -> dim -> off since you don't want the light to go brighter as you are trying to turn it off to sleep.Would also appreciate it it turned off after a set time, say 3 hours, to save battery if I fall asleep.Minor improvement suggestions though, no deal breakers.

Love this lamp! I originally ordered one that "stopped working" after the return window. I wrote the seller and let them know what happened and they replaced it without having me send the "broken one" back.I bought it for diamond painting and liked that it was rechargeable because I don't always have outlets where I work. This was perfect. I like the different brightness levels! I decided to store it clipped to the shelf next to my bed and now it's my bedside light. I always fall asleep with it on, not on purpose. But it lasts all night when not plugged in, tho it is plugged in most of the time.I recently bought another for my home office, since it will be dark when I am working and the room I'm in doesn't have any overhead lights, which I don't like anyway. Works great over my keyboard!Great light and have recommended it to many!

I love this lamp. Cuts down on light bill. I use it for my laptop keys because the light went out on them. I clip it on the side of my laptop and tap the on/off button with ease. 1 tap is bright 2 taps is brighter 3 taps is brightest 4 taps is off. Hold the button for 1 second on any bright setting and the lamp will turn off. When you turn it back on it won’t go back to the brighter or brightest setting only the bright one. It came with an android charger. When you plug it in during charge it gets slightly brighter. I love this lamp. It bends with ease. Takes a little bit of muscle to operate that clip. You need a thumb or a palm to move the clip because I can’t move it with my feet. Toes are weak.Edit 13Aug2020: maybe I’m lucky because my lamp still works like a charm after months. I love my lamp.

I ordered two of these, they arrived quickly and seem very sturdy out of the box. I really liked that they're rechargeable and can stand on the base without clipping them to anything else. The lamps seem bright enough to read by or when you need them for other purposes. I turned one on in our bathroom that only has a skylight and it was just as bright or brighter than our best solar light. I bought them as extra lighting in case of emergencies, after having gone through Hurricane Maria, I'm starting preparations early. Again, I have some solar lights but I wanted USB rechargeable lamps for our prep, too. These were inexpensive and they ship internationally. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I'm not using them continually so I don't know how durable they really are but again, they seem nice quality for the price.

With a clamp on base, 1' long flexible goose neck deign, and three light levels, this lamp is a great reading light, work light, or lamp, I wouldn't recommend for very low light settings being that this little guy puts out like 5000k color, so a softer/warmer light may be better for bedtime reading. I use it as one of the lights in my streaming setup, and I need to bleed in a bit of warm light because I'm paler than wall paste, just something to consider if it's going to be an "on screen light"
