I am thrilled with this brush. I just ordered a second one for my husband. I am going to order 2 more today because I think my sons would like them too. It has a nice shape, easy to hold handle, and the rubber bristles are at different heights with the shortest being in the middle and then coming out. The way it is made is genius cause it provides a wonderful massage while brushing my hair. I have short hair and wear it in a spike hairdo. This brush helps me achieve the spike look. As I am thinking about it, I am going to order one more cause my dog likes to be scratched and this will do the trick for that too. I am a senior citizen and have tender scalp but this brush feels really good. Works well for me and I highly recommend it for others. I can only speak for short hair.

Works well on fine and thick hair alike
I bought this brush for my 9 year old granddaughter because her hair is impossible to brush thru after her bath. As it turned out my daughter in law needed a brush during their visit and was presented with this brush, one we keep at our house for my granddaughter. My DIN loved it. Her hair had somehow gotten all ratted up and she said it was the best brush she'd ever used. Her hair is long and fine while my granddaughter has long thick hair. Both love the brush and for the price I'll be buying them one each to have at their home.It's plastic and a bit flimsy to my liking but my hair is naturally curly and I don't put a brush thru it much so what do I know? They love it!!

NOT for the tender headed....
My 5 year old grandson loves his GREEN brush and has no complaints. However, the 7 year old granddaughter says it hurts her scalp and does not manage her tangles. I’ve tried using it on her and agree. The tangles are there every morning. We use a detangling spray which helps with comb out after bath and shampoo, but the tangles are back in the a.m.

Exactly as the photo! These brushes are the only brushes that can get through my Thick, Curly and quite Tangley large amount of hair. I lost one that I've had for years and ended being the perfect replacement.

Not Sturdy
I would have gave it more stars, it seems to brush through my hair effortlessly. However, the brush is falling apart. The colored part and the black part of the brush are not put together correctly and when I brush I feel them come apart. Not sure if it happens with all the items or just mine in particular. Just upsetting that it may not last me very long if it is coming apart fresh out of the box.
