Ok for what it's worth
The lock button that allows you to hear continuously in one room unlocks by itself after a long period of time. I bought this to hear my elderly mother at all times, so you have to periodically turn it off and back on. It also statics and is very loud

A two story house's dream come true!! I cant believe how nice it is to have an Intercom downstairs. I was getting tired of yelling at the bottom of the stairs and then hoping for the kids to answer back. The intercom system is super easy to use and install. The instructions are easy to read and understand too. On the back of the intercoms there is two screw holes that make for easy mounting to the wall. Programing was a breeze too. I am looking forward to getting maybe two more. One for our garage and our master bedroom! I received my item at a discounted rate for my honest review
