Canon Remote Switch RS60 E3

I used this remote for capturing the recent solar eclipse. It worked wonderfully. There are no batteries required and is extremely easy to use. It's size make it easy to carry in the camera bag itself. This is a very effective aid for taking pictures with slow shutter speed. I am satisfied.

small, cute, easy to handle, shutter lock hold....but does not have LCD display......fits my Canon 80D very well......

It does what it is meant for.

Reliable shutter release.Works as required in compatible film and digital SLRs from Canon.Helps prevents shakes and a must have for locked long exposure shots. No battery is needed for functioning.Wire is not too long but should not be a problem; for really long exposure shots you can lock the shutter.Here are pictures when connected to a 600D.Did not buy it on Amazon so won't show as a verified purchase.

The remote control does everything I wanted. One push of the button and I can let go, this stops any possible camera shake, which is important when in bulb mode.

A very handy piece of kit, which I use mainly for photographing specimens through a microscope, and photographing objects in the night sky through a telescope.

So far have made little use of the remote, but when I have used it, it did exactly what it was bought to do.

An accessory I wouldn't be without. With a tripod and one of these you can ( almost ) guarantee an in-focus picture.

Perfect when on a tripod and using very long exposures
