Glazier Pickled Polish Sausage & Egg 1/2 Gal Combo

Product itself was what I expected. Shipping was less than desirable. Jars are soft plastic with plastic lids. Lids had clear packing tape wrapped around it. Box it came in was cheap. Jars leaked because the box they were packed in wasn't sturdy enough. The jars were made of soft plastic and you can squeezed them while shipped. That's why the juice from product leaked out. Had a mess to clean up from juice(vinegar) when product arrived. Jars should be more rigid. Better packing.

I think these are the best pickled sausage a have ever had great flavor with just the right amount of spice. The pickled eggs are just o.k. could use more spice. I can't wait to use the sausage juice to pickle some of my own eggs in.

The sausages in this combo are very good, nice spice but not too hot, leaves a nice aftertaste. The eggs on the other hand are just plain bland and pretty awful. They have a nice texture to them, very soft and not rubbery but the taste is disgusting like eating plastic. If they spiced up the eggs better, maybe using the same as they use for the sausage this would be a 5 star combo but the eggs ruin it. Also the packaging while they took a lot of effort in making sure the package didn't leak, it still leaked into the inside packaging while made it a mess to open. The jars are cheap plastic so there isn't much that can be done to avoid the leaking unless they start doing a better quality job jarring, using better jars and lids. Will buy the sausages again but def. no the eggs.
