Wrong OD In Product Title
The listing title states 1/2” ID and 5/8” OD. This is incorrect! The walls are only 1/16” thick, making this 1/2” ID and 9/16” OD. Silicon tubing is borderline useless at this wall thickness. It just folds on top of itself and kinks like crazy. To add insult to injury, this costs as much as “the real stuff” and the seller put the wall thickness in an image at the bottom of the description with the wrong OD yet again. I want a refund but it was brew day and this is all I had. Absolute waste of money.

or only for cool or cold fluids if you are going to use ...
As others have said, note that this is a thin wall silicone tube. I tried using as a transfer hose in my brewing setup (Hot side) and the hose collapsed several times while under suction. Nothing wrong with the hose, but it was too thin for what I had planned for it. I would only use this as a discharge hose, or only for cool or cold fluids if you are going to use it under suction.

Yes it's a 1/16" wall thickness, because 1/8" is twice the cost
You don't always need 1/8" tubing, if you're routing something straight, this won't kink. This is under $1 per foot which makes it economical, and it's quality tubing. You don't pay the budget price for a Hyundai and give it one star because it's not a Honda. If you need thick tubing, pay up!

Okay for some people
The walls of the tubing are very thin, so the tubing will collapse on itself with extreme ease. It kinks very easily. I made it work for my application (to act as a drain line for my copper brew pot chiller) but it does crimp and affect the out going flow rate. At best it's okay. I was expecting it to be a bit stiffer and not crimp so easily. It would absolutely not work at all in a task where you were pulling a suction on it!

Good product
I brew beer and it is what I needed, flexible and durable that would not get in the way or have issues getting hard and inflexible. The stuff works great so far.

Works just fine for my requirements
Works just fine for my requirements. If, I had to make a change, it would be using a bit thicker walled tubing. May try that next time.
