It is excellent for use on the jamb, since every time the door shuts it reinforces the bond, but it could not withstand much friction **Q: Has anyone used this product around a metal door of an outdoor above ground concert storm shelter?** A: nope but the material seems strong for that purpose, i've used it for storm proofing old windows and doors... it is however quite thick at least he one I got, maybe half an inch, the door that uses this has to have a significant gap for it to close after you put this. **Q: Does this work on the inside door of a honda civic 2009** A: It has worked great on my house doors bad spots. The glue is super strength.
