Almost 2 year update: still in great shape! I still beat on this case really hard and not one thread has come loose, the card pockets haven't stretched out, the magnet still works well and it still holds my phone securely. I cant reccomend this case enough.One year update: I have been HARD on this case and its held up beautifully. Only one scratch on the leather, and it the color has patina'd well. No loose stitching at all.Was really pleasantly surprised by how nice this looked when I opened it. The leather is soft and looks great, and the stitching is very nice with red thread to match the red leather outside and a nice golden thread to match the tan interior. No loose threads, stitching is even and consistent throughout. The part that holds the phone is a flexible clear plastic that feels sung but doesn't interfere with using the buttons. Card slots are neither too deep nor too shallow and there is space behind them for a few bills or additional cards. The best part is that this case doesn't interfere with my wireless charging pad!

Just received your Samsung Galaxy S8 phone cover ordered through amazon.com/US. It's a beautiful nut color, feels somewhat like suede, and most importantly it has a soft flexible plastic holder for the phone rather than the hard brittle plastic most phone covers have. Kudos to you for that thoughtfulness. The cover looks great on the phone, the inner clear plastic holder wraps itself around the phone holding it securely, and I'm a lot less concerned about dropping the case and having the phone slide across the floor because the usual hard brittle plastic holders cracked and broke. That's happened to me twice now with the brittle plastic and I'm lucky my phone is still intact. The soft, flexible phone holder in your product is unlikely to release the phone and it provides an extra layer of cushioning to protect the screen. Well done!

I never thought I could like a folding phone case until I purchased this one. Exceptionally classy looking. The stitching is perfect, T leather is tight and the magnet that holds it together is strong. I even threw away my wallet and use the 3 slots for my everyday cards. I found a cardholder that is much smaller than my wallet for all the other cards I need. I love combining my wallet and phone all in one case. No more searching for a certain cad. They line up so I can see all of them easily. The phone is held in a plastic piece that wraps around the four corners. It is soft and strong plastic and my phone never moves. The cons: None. The fingerprint scanner is on the back, which the case does give excellent access to. I would recommend this case. It is sharp looking, durable and I bought the brown which is very manly looking. UPDATE: I have been using this case for about a month now and I still love it. I feel that if I dropped the phone, which I haven't, it would not damage the phone. It is thick enough to absorb an impact, but it is comfortable in my pocket. You should buy this case if you want a case that is durable and it looks great. The best move for a case I have ever made.

The Snakehive London genuine leather case is beautiful (I bought the Black/Nut), and the quality is top notch. Seems very well made and it feels expensive. I wanted a case that folds over the screen since I did not want my phone to pocket dial. I guess the only complaint is that folds open like a book ok but if you want to fold the front cover all the way back and under it really does not do that well. I still give it 5 stars. By the way I do not use any pocket or credit card slots so that does not factor into my review.

I wanted a wallet-type case to protect my Galaxy S8 edges as well as screen, and I wanted a sturdy leather case that wouldn't fray at the open/close edges. Snakehive got very good reviews, so after some back and forth with other leather cases, I decided to go with the London company. I chose the chestnut 'suede' case, and am very happy with it. However, I really like the smooth leather interior better, and wish that had been an option for the exterior as well.

I've never had a wallet case before. Mainly, I just wanted my phone protected. The first day it was stiff, but that quickly went away. It is very comfortable in my hand. I wasn't sure how using it while talking would work out. My daughter lives in Japan and we face to face chat a lot. It's totally comfortable. It's good looking and matches the picture...I got the plum. The only thing I dont understand is how to use the stand. But, it really wasn't important to me so I gave 5 stars. If the stand as portrayed in the picture is important to you...maybe inquire about it.

I love this case. I love the feel of this case, it is a soft wonderful leather. It comes with just 3 card slots, and the ID slot is not clear, well, maybe there is no ID slot... but truly a wonderful case. I will most likely give this case to my son in law as a gift for his birthday. It came on time, and the seller reached out to me immediately to ensure that I had received the case and all was right. Good customer rating!

I was looking for a quality case for my Galaxy S8 phone and this doesn't disappoint..The leather itself is soft to the touch and oozes quality.It holds my phone perfectly leaving it secure and free from potential damage should it be dropped.The card slots grip my credit cards firmly and securely but not so tight as to make removal awkward.Another bonus is that the case does not inhibit wireless charging.I purchased the honey gold variant and really pleased I did. Its a real eye catcher.Lastly, the stitching is superb and even exceeded my expectations.Would not hesitate to buy another Snakehive case for my next phone.Cant praise it enough

I previously had an Ocase wallet for my phone which I liked a great deal. I originally chose it over the Snakehive case because the area around the fingerprint reader was slightly recessed and I felt this would make it easier to access. However, the plastic section which holds the phone turned out to be a little brittle and was starting to break up so when I needed to replace it I thought I'd try the Snakehive this time around.I'm glad I did. I had to re-record my fingerprint but after that its worked very reliably. The plastic section that the phone fits into is a clear, malleable plastic this time around so I'm fairly certain it isn't going to break. The case itself, which I chose in a two-tone colour, looks smart and seems to be well made. The leather is a little on the stiff side but constant use is gradually making it more flexible. Basically I have no complaints at all.

So, I got the yellow (Honey Gold) version, and it is more of a brownish colour, definitely not as bright as the pictures, not even in direct sunlight. So bear that in mind. If you need a bright colour, this probably is the wrong choice for you.With 3 cards slotted into the pocket, the latch can barely hold the case closed. They should have probably spaced the cards out a bit more so the package does not get THAT thick as soon as you add a few cards. At least it should close nicely with a card in each slot. If they want to be perceived as luxury (or at least high quality), then should do more quality assurance, imho.Can't comment on durability yet, will try to update this review after a few months wrt durability.

I couldn't be happier with this phone case. It feels thick and sturdy. The leather has a great feel to it. You can really tell this is high quality when you hold it.Snakehive now have a new lifelong customer for phone cases. These are much, much better than the crappy cheap faux leather cases I've been using for years.Also as an added bonus these guys will send you a free matching leather keyring if you go to the website and enter the amazon order number. So that was a nice little bonus I didn't know about until the box came.

I bought this after enjoying a vertical flip case for my previous Galaxy S4 from Snakehive. I would say these are the best quality cases on the market.Unfortunately, there isn't currently a Vertical flip case in the Snakehive product range for the S8 so rather hesitantly I bought this. Although beautifully crafted out of real leather, unfortunately the design is terrible as it is extremely bulky once you have used the card slots or wallet making it hard to close and hard to use the phone.In the old flip case there was a single card slot which could stretch to store 5 cards however in this one they have cut several card slots meaning there are several layers of leather. once used it looks rather like a stuffed sandwich rather than a neat smart phone case.I would recommend not buying this case as I was very unhappy with it.
