The actual product represented on this page that is mfg'd by the brand "Kitty Cat Protector" is a 5-star product. It is perfect.Unfortunately, when I came back to click the <Buy it Again> button, the seller that auto-filled was different, and as a result I received a vendor knock-off. This seller "Love-Sell" is not selling the same product that I purchased the first time from another seller, "Herbal Nutrition Labs." It never occurred to me that when I went to the details of my original order, clicked the button that asks me if I wan to buy it again, the a different seller would be substituted. That 'buy again' button should have taken me to the product that I ordered, *and* the same seller that I had ordered from. This item is falsely represented by the seller Love-Sell, not the product made by the mfgr. represented " Kitty Cat Protector" or pictured. This seller "Love-Sell" has no business being linked to this product page. They are shipping from overseas, and shipping a knock-off product. I don't appreciate being deceived. Normally, the long shipping window would have tipped me off that something was different, but at the time, anything that was not PPE, had very long shipping lead times. What arrived was only part of the items represented in the ad, and not in the represented manufacturers packaging. What I received was something appearing similar, packaged in two separate, plain brown sub-standard-quality boxes. Amazon, please unlink this seller, 'Love-Sell' from this product listing that uses improperly uses the name of the manufacturer and the mfgr's packaging photos. They are not the same and could ruin the business of the original mfgr, "Kitty Cat Protector."

The sheet thickness is good but adhesive is very poor. It’s comes off after 1 week.

I have tried everything to get these to stick to my couch corners. When they first arrived they were rolled in the packaging which made them retain that shape when trying to place on surfaces. This caused them to pull away. I heated them up with a hair dryer to soften the material and conform it to the couch corners with success. That is, until the next day when they started coming off again. I heated them again for a longer duration and closer to the surface, and again it seemed to have worked. This time they lasted a few days. A third round of heating produced the exact same results as the prior. They don't work.

It does not work well for fabric. Has to have twist pins inserted but it stayed on well so far for a month so far after using a blow dryer to heat it up. It is thick and will not allow cats to scratch. For those reading reviews, it is clear but shiny, however does not stand out. I do not think the stick on is strong enough to damage or stay on the faux leather furniture after removal. It didn't leave anything on there after it fell off before I used the blow dryer.

Thought I'd give it a try even with the negative comments. Should have heeded the reviews.This product just doesn't work. It's a good idea - I didn't want to put pins in my couch - but they don't stick very well and because they come tightly rolled with the sticky side on the outside of the roll, they simply peel off over time. I did try to flatten them before using them. I spread them on the floor and placed heavy books on them but they just slowly march their way back to their familiar rolled shape, peeling off at the corners as they go. You have to constantly monitor them, pushing the peeled edges down at regular intervals. Might as well be watching a toddler and who has time for that?Note to the manufacturer - this product could work, but you need to ship them folded lengthwise with the sticky side inside the fold. When a customer peels off the protective paper, the product will want to keep it's folded shape, pushing into the couch and maybe staying stuck, instead of peeling outwards, away from the couch. Yes, you have to think a little harder about how to ship your product and purchase packaging that allows them to remain lengthwise - but it could help your bottom line and you could actually provide a quality product instead of a crappy one to your customers - if you were wanting to do that.

It's a great sturdy protector and easy to install. Maybe for leather or vinyl it work work great, but for fabric upholstery, it doesn't stick too well. I got these to keep my cats from clawing up the edges of my new armchairs. And they work great. Trouble is they don't stick well to the fabric, I have to stick them back at least 3 times a day. Better adhesive and I'd give these 5 stars.

I had a tough time attaching to my couch. I used my hair dryer to warm up the plastic and adhesive to stick to my couch.

These pads are durable and have stopped the cats from scratching up my new sofa. They don't stick as well as I would like but that's a catch - 22 because if the adhesive was stronger it would mess up the fabric of your sofa. I used tiny pins at each corner and it works great. Practically invisible. They are a generous size and good value.

These are adhesive plastic guards which fell off the couch in less than an hour. They may stick to something hard, but they don't stick to the fabric of either of the couches we have in our house. It was a waste of money.
