This pump is really high quality and just gets the job done really easily. First, however, I do have to say that you want to use this with quite a bit of water around it since the pump is quite strong, (1.5 HP) The pump only turns on at around 9-10 of water automatically. The pump is super strong, high quality and you can expect it to get the job done.

Worked great. I purchased a backwash hose and cut the included hose adapter, included with they pump, for the larger hose. Plenty of flow. No issues.

what a work horse this has been. I thought I trashed it out when using it to acid wash my pool as it would not pump out but I had too high a concentration on the acid. After buying a replacement I tried to run it and it ran fine. So well worth the cost of $60ish and so much power. It drained my 38,000 gallon pool in less than 30 hours.

Delivered on time, came with a broken handle and don’t see how to have it replaced. Has no way to screw a garden hose onto it. Went to the hardware store got what I need to make it work. It’s in the lake pumping up a storm. Let’s it keeps it up for a long time.

Purchased this to empty drain tanks , works great , fast flow and automatic cut off when water reaches low point. Make sure you buy right size hose. This is not a lightweight device although it is compact for its power rating. You could pump out a large pond easily in a short space of time. Very pleased with it.
