I ordered these twin needles assuming they were "universal" -- meaning they could not only fit on any machine, but that they also had a point that would work with a variety of fabrics. I loved the price, naturally.When they arrived, I noticed that they were packaged in a small plastic bag. Most namebrand needles (that I've purchased both online and in a store) come in a plastic box in order to keep the needled from bending. My first concern was that the needles could have been damaged at any point during shipping. A bent needle is not only a useless needle, but it can harm your machine and potentially break off and hurt you. So I was weary.I then inspected these needles closely with some namebrand universal twin needles I already have in order to see if they are made with the same quality. They do seem to have the same quality. These needles, however, have a more rounded point to them than the other twin needles I have, which suggests to me that they wouldn't be appropriate for some fabrics. I was going to use them for Spandex, for example, and I won't even try because I don't want to damage the Spandex.All in all, I think these needles are a risky investment, simply because of the lack of a protective storage case, which is standard for needles. They pose a major hazard even if they are slightly bent. However, if you are comfortable with that risk, and know that the point is going to be more rounded than a namebrand twin needle, then these are certainly a good buy--far less expensive than anywhere else I can find. The quality of the construction of the needle is good.

Side by side with a top brand they look cheap, but do not be mistaken the performing is as good as the best. They look cheap because you can see the metals melting spot giving the impresion that is going to break and I am always afraid that is going to happen and stress me out. But so far no braking, easy to thread, straight lines and perfect fit. You can not beat the price and the best is you have 3 different wide needles to choose. If I don't have any accident with this needles and I am not in a hurry to get them I would buy again. Be aware that it took a lot of time to arrive.

I am a seamstress & have done double needle sewing for a "ready made" look on clothing. I feel the quality of these needles is very good. I still take care & sew slowly. If I have to stop my machine for any reason, I do gently get more thread ready. In this way I do not stress the neadles unnecessarily. Just yesterday I finished these knee length sweatpants. I am enclosing photos so you can see where at the waistband It sewed through several layers of sweatpant fleece(folded over waistband+top edge of leg). I do plan on buying more & would definitely recommend to purchase,

Was so glad to find these, and so reasonably priced. One needle did break pretty quickly, but they have worked well for what I've needed.

Works well on my brother machine - - the project runway branded one so many of us own. I used one to finish a t-shirt, and the quality seems the same as a name branded needle. Mine came in a plastic bag instead of on cardboard or in paper, so be careful not to step on package or thrust hang in package blindly.

I just got them, but I haven't used them as of yet. They look good and hopefully they will be a good buy.

These needles are great. I Sew a lot of knits on my serge but didn't have anything to do the double stitch for hems on my regular machine. These work great but they didn't have any instructions so I had to look on YouTube to see how to thread. You need 2 separate spools of thread- one for each needle.

I was so happy to find these at a affordable price but I went through 2 needle set of twin needle in one hour. They break and bend VERY easily. It will be better to purchase the scholars brand from Joann's fabric store. Its $5.00 and just use a coupon. (Depending on which coupon you use) will determine the cost.

Used for t shirt material double stitch to finish off fabric ends, bit low quality but hey it does the job.

From an “High quality” product I do expect at least a decent packaging. I see very difficult for these twin needles to be as sharp as they should be without a proper box to keep the tips safe. Disappointed

these arrived quickly but, given each of the needles looks and feels rusty or as though they are rough i am not even going to try them in my machine. i wish i'd just paid for better quality in the first place.
