Apple did not design their phones so users can replace the battery. And no Bunky, their is no app for that!! It took me almost two hours to remove the old and replace the new battery. Yeah, there are probably some techs out there that have installed a few hundred of these and maybe can do it in 15-20 minutes. Regardless, there are numerous tiny screws and several delicate parts that have to be removed and reinstalled. I have repaired laptop computers with similar kinds of parts....and that was good practice. This is my wife's phone, mine is an Android and can replace the battery in under two minutes blindfolded. So, not for the faint of heart....and I suspect most people should not attempt this install/repair. Better to find that Apple store several hours away....or spend $1500 on a new phone from AAPL. I guess most people don't keep their phone long enough to use up the battery anyway. BTW, I have a bridge for sale!

Received when promised in good condition. Easy to install and came with protective screen cover which is nice but not super durable but was free. I carry phone in back pocket of jeans, in my jacket, or purse. My biggest complaint is the battery life. I can go without using my phone all day and be at 60%. If I use my phone I usually have to charge once or twice during the day and always at night. It solved my issue with a bad battery purchased from another seller on amazon but wish I would have gone through the trouble and dealt with apple for replacement in the first place since at the time they were still offering it for $29. I did not so I went with this one. It does the job of running my phone just not a long life.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE BATTERIES! YONTEX brand is the BEST there is! They are easy to install and come with everything you need. I have already reviewed this product right after I bought it, but now that I have had it in my phone for a little while, I will re-do this review.Before my battery replacement, my phone wouldn't last for more than 3 hours. Even on battery saving mode! I use my phone quite a bit texting, playing a few games and social media. Since I replaced my battery, I only have to charge my phone once a day!!!ANDDDD..... To top it all off, this battery has a 24 MONTH WARRANTY!!! So if it ever quits, or blows up or whatever, they will totally stand behind their product!!!BOTTOM LINE.. YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS PRICE AND YOU WON'T FIND A BETTER REPLACEMENT BATTERY FOR YOUR IPHONE!!!

I've never left a bad review before, but this was a 100% waste of time and money because the connector on the battery was DEFECTIVE. Even though there are no instructions, I diligently looked up instructions on YouTube and followed everything to the letter, but it literally would not click into place and was clearly deformed.Figured it was just the one and ordered a replacement, which took 2 days and was also defective. Now 3 days without my phone and apparently there's no way to request a refund, because the original order was "fulfilled" by the replacement, which shows a price of $0. Refunding $0 will not help. There's no option to request a refund for the original order, so idk what to do.The one star is for the kit itself, which was fine, apart from the battery, which was the whole point.

So I got this to replace an original iPhone 6s battery. The first couple of weeks, the battery life was great and then it progressively got worse. I'm back to a little bit above where I was prior to installing this replacement battery. I'd give it a one star rating but the kit that came along with it allowed for easy installation, so I'll give them that.

I purchased one about a year ago. The battery completely died after 11 months and the gas in the battery popped up so much that it pushed my screen on the 6s out of its case. While there was no damage, buyers be aware. It lasts about 1/2 as long as an OEM one. The customer service does not respond nor will they honor the 24 months warranty. For $15 it is an ok deal.

Got this 2 weeks ago.1st battery was a dud, it charged once then shut off never to turn on again. 3 days later customer service sent me another battery which it looses charge with in 2 hours of fully being charged. I followed the instructions to a T. Installation was easy, customer service was good, battery sucks.. do your self a favor and get a OEM battery.

I ordered three Yontex replacement batteries. Our phones were at 83%, 78%, and 75%. Upon replacement all three returned to peak performance at 100% capacity. Not for the timid. The worst part is removal of the old adhesive behind the one battery. Watch the video and you will have success. Worth the $60 for three units and will purchase another for our fourth phone in the near future. No swelling, no hot battery. Perfect replacement and we are extremely happy!
