Handbag Handcuff

I wanted to love it and honestly and sadly there isn't anything else better on the market, but I don't. I like that it is long enough to let my bag handbag from the side of the passenger chair but the rings do not open wide enough to allow even one strap fit through. Plus there is a groove in the opening that further ha,pers the release of bags. Inside the snapped compartment is another smaller ribbon that I loop through my bag and affix to the larger ring. This secures the bag but the little groove in the opening of the ring even makes this difficult to open. Has the inventor tested this with an actual handbag that a woman would use? Iit could be an awesome item with a little tweaking. The inventor should have user tested it.

I like this as it keeps my handbag and grocery bags on my car seat instead of on the floor. I've also used the attached strap to hook it to the back of my chair while dining out (hate putting my handbag on the floor or worrying about it wandering off). I've also used it to hook my handbag to the front of my shopping cart. I keep finding new uses for it.Pros: it's solidly made and it easily fits around the bar of my headrest.Cons: it's larger and heavier than one would expect. In fact it would made a good weapon if someone tried to take your handbag.....wait, maybe that's a Pro.Overall I'm glad I bought it and I'll use it for a long time. Wish I had thought of this.

This is a very well-made product that solves an annoying problem -- the contents of my handbag spilling on the floor of the car. It is made of heavy leather with sturdy bronze rings on each end, with a bonus accessory strap tucked inside for when you have extra bags to add on. I would like to see another model where the bottom ring is more of a deep S-hook that truly would be one handed. Would sort of need an S hook that's closed on one end. But I love this product and heartily recommend to anyone why hates having stuff spill out all the time!

I haven't actually been able to use the handcuff yet. I've had guests in town for the holidays which means my passenger seat has been filled w/bodies--not my purse. I give it 4 stars because the quality is EXTREMELY good. This isn't cheaply made. It is very nice, thick leather and appears to be made very well. From the looks of it, it will do its job. If not, I'll update my review to reflect the same.

I looked at this on another website and decided to buy - and it is perfect. I can strap up my purse and lunch bag in the passenger seat - They no longer tip over on the seat if I have to make a sharp turn or quick stop - and I feel more secure knowing if someone tried to reach in my car and grab my purse, it is secure.

I really love this product. I attached it to the post on my car headrest. When I get ready to drive, I clip the handle to my handbag to it. My purse stays steady. I used to have to hold onto my purse while stopping or turning so it wouldn't fall to the floor and spill everything. Now I don't have to worry about that. Fantastic.

I really needed this since I bought a new car and I don't have my "space" to put my purse anymore. So my purse would slide off the seat or slide across the floor and then I would have to move it to the back when I picked up my son. This way it is in the front seat and then I can swing it to the back. I read all of the reviews and I have had no problem with getting the purse handles into the link. The reason I am giving it 4 stars is it is expensive.

I use this to tether my large dog in the back seat as he likes to help drive the car. When Im alone I use it for keeping my purse from during everything on the floor. My daughter had one and when she shod it to me I ordered one right away. I like it very much.
