NEWPORT POLARIZED Sunglasses REGATTA

I've been buying/wearing Newport Polarized sunglasses for many years. My previous pair, Newport Cruisers, are the best I've ever had but are showing their age and the lenses got scratched when I accidentally leaned them up against a brick wall. I loved those so much and have been trying to find another pair for quite a while, even contacting Newport Polarized about it, with no success so I finally bought these Regatta's.These are just fine sunglasses but I do not like them nearly as much as my old Newport Cruiser. They fit tighter, but not too bad. They're definitely very shinny, which I do not want but should have realized from the listing but was expecting a more matte finish based on my previous pair of black Newports. They also don't seem to be quite as well made/premium as my old Newports. That said, the polarized lenses are great and work exactly as they should.Giving them 3 stars because they're alright, are of decent but not great quality, and don't look as good in person as in the pictures; although maybe they deserve 4 considering the amazing price. I'm just not nearly as happy with them as I was with my old Newports (which I paid much more for), hopefully I'm not letting that affect me rating (don't think I am).Newport Polarized, if you are reading this, bring back the Cruiser!

Comfortable glasses, though the height of the lens and frame is larger than I expected. I was looking for something about a half inch to an inch smaller from top to bottom. Was looking to replace a pair of Jublo Sail XLs which are my favorite of all time (sadly no longer in production). That being said, the vision quality is excellent and if they made a similar pair with a smaller profile I would definitely purchase. These remind me a little too much of my late grandfather's driving sunglasses. Still a good purchase for the price based on quality.

Great fit and feel. Have had these for about a week now and they are awesome! used them on my hiking trip and they were a lifesaver in the hot sun. Dark but unlike other dark shades these provide a clear unobstructed vision.

These are very cheap! I don't have a big head at all but these sunglasses are so tight they hurt. They are very uncomfortable. They don't fit well at all. They don't sit on my ears and nose, they simply pinch my head. They are uneven from side to side and one of the lenses is distorted due to the curvature maybe. Spend more $$ on better glasses. I do not recommend these!
