2 Reichsmark silver Hindenburg memoria coin with infamous swastika on reverse. Paul Von Hindenburg was Germany's greatest hero of World War 1. He was elected President of Germany in 1925. In 1932, he ran for President again as the only candidate capital of beating the National Socialist candidate, Adolph Hitler. He won the election, and prehaps as an attempt at hakting his popularity or satisfiying his ambitious dreams, made Hitler Chancellor of Germany. He died in 1934 and was honored on these 2 Mark coins minted by the German Third Reich between 1936-1939. These coins are very popular and sell for $20 or more.
