Absolutely amazing! ZERO LAG!
These controllers are absolutely amazing. I'm using them with the Raspberry Pi 3 and they are just perfect. I've used various wireless controllers before with the Pi (Dualshock 3, Xbox 360 etc.), and all without exception have had major lag when playing 2 player games, or needed charging regularly.THESE controllers on the other hand just work. Absolutely zero lag in both 1 and 2 player games (playing a lot of early Mortal Kombat, so input response needs to be instantaneous, which it is). Battery is holding its charge, took about half an hour to charge them both, and so far I'm on day 3 with no problems - instructions say 100 hour battery life, so we'll see.The setup is so simple as well. Literally plug the USB receivers into the Pi and then CONFIGURE INPUT - worth noting I needed to also have my keyboard plugged into the Pi in order to access the 'configure input' screen, but once there the Pi recognised both USB inputs and I was able to configure both controllers quickly (weirdly they're recognised as 360 controllers).A really nice touch is that pressing Start + Select on the player 1 pad takes you back to the Pi homescreen when in a game, which is such a nice time-saver that has been added. Which brings me on to my ONLY gripe with these pads : they aren't labeled 'player 1'/'player 2', so it's hit or miss which one you'll pick up first. But once you've figured it out just put a sharpie mark on the back of them.Other than that the pads are light, they feel good in the hand, they work from a good range away (I'm about 10ft from the Pi), and they're so simple to setup.Would highly recommend, and buy again.
