Dog Bed Basket, XX-Large, 115 cm, Dark

All good.

Prestige wicker baskets are very well made, but I have a problem with my latest one delivered today in that it measures 73.5 x 56cm instead of the quoted 75 x 60cm. Not only is the basket smaller than expected, but the cushion is obviously made for the larger size, as it doesn't sit well in the bottom of the basket as shown online, but fills most of it. I've decided to keep the basket and probably discard the cushion as I need it urgently. I should point out that I purchased this via Amazon Warehouse, so presumably it was a return and may well have been returned for the same reason.

I am delighted with this product, it is well made and ideal for a dog, except for one thing; the lining is tied onto the basket using nylon fishing wire, which my (puppy) dog managed to untie and he nearly swallowed a long length of it. This may have been fatal or required a long and costly operation to remove it. The lining serves no purpose and it would be better to not have it. I like this product and do not want to put anyone off but if you have a puppy then please keep an eye on him or her

We bought 2 of these dog beds and although the basket itself is ok, the padding fitted is very soft and of very poor quality.We did notice the same beds been sold by other companies ,so they may not be personally made by Prestige wicker probably an cheap imported product.

I have 3 dogs. The eldest (a mid to late age Westie) decided on the day it arrived that actually is was for her mutual comfort and the other two don't get a look in. If they do dare to go into it when her back is turned she will just sit in front of it staring them out until they give in and decide it would be safer for them if they found another place to sleep. (They have a huge comfy padded cushion that is plenty big enough for all of them but for some reason they prefer the wicker basket.) I think it may be because it has sides to it so perhaps makes them feel safer. Whatever the reason it has proved to be a huge hit with them. I'd buy another one but then hubby and I would have nowhere to sit, unless of course we retreat to the cushion in the corner!!

It is the first dog bed that my dog hasn’t shewed.Happy days.
