Overall nice quality product. I’m taking off stars because the cover description and picture are misleading. This is not shiny gold lettering, it’s merely a picture of low definition gold, like some cheap scrapbook background. The rest of the cover is beautiful and feels like a nice velvety smooth surface. The book contains a simple yet elegant cover page where you can put your name which is a nice touch. There is no room for a header on the pages like you would see on normal notebook paper, that might be a plus or minus depending on what you plan to use it for. Would be 5 stars if it were real gold foil and had room for a header.

Fine product as far as plenty of writing space. The paperback cover, however did not hold up well at all. I covered it in contact paper before a month’s daily use.

This looks like someone just printed an image on card stock and bound it. It is fine if you want something slightly different compared to generic composition books, but you'll be disappointed if you typically buy nicer journals and notebooks from companies like Ban.Do, Erin Condren, Kate Spade, etc.

The book is quite flimsy I was under the impression it was hard cover.

Poor quality item, had it refunded by Amazon. The cover looks like it's been scanned on a photocopier and reprinted. There is also a grammatical error on the quote inside.
