Good CD
Good starting music book for violin with supporting CD. Bought for my six year old. I would really have liked online access to the music to accompany the book, uploading the CD was a bit of a faff, but the accompaniments are worth it.

Bought this for my 6 year son learning Violin. ...
Bought this for my 6 year son learning Violin. He was over the moon. Me being tone deaf and blind was over the moon he could actually read sheet music. He actually told me the second half of the piece he was learning in school was in the book so he could learn the rest. That is 5 stars on it's own for me.

Nice size and layout for kids
Purchased for my son on the request of his violin teacher. It’s a nice size and my son finds it easy to read and use. The addition of the cd-rom makes it great value for money! Would buy more books in this range :)

Brilliant very easy start for absolute beginners.
Great book for beginners. Lots of fun easy pieces, the very first of which use letter names instead of notation so you can get students playing straight away. Mostly tunes they'll already know, and the accompanying CD is pretty fun too. I'm a huge fan of the joggers / runners / sprinters series, but for absolute beginners I'd say this book is a way into the trickier pieces those books offer. I also like that it's A5 size, easy to fit in a small pocket in a case.

Speedy delivery, lovely product, but online offering could be better.
I am happy with the book and CD.The book references the App Store, but downloaded tracks are only available if a soft copy of the book is also purchased from the App Store. It would be great to have, perhaps, a redeemable code to enable backups to be downloaded once the (physical) book has been purchased.

Wonderful music for very beginner groups
Great for teaching groups. Starts off with open strings and string names, before progressing to standard notation. Some familiar tunes, and backing tracks to keep everyone together.
