The sides of the bottom tray are 16.5 cm high. With the handle clipped to the side you will have to allow 41cm. If it fits your space and wide enough for your cat, it is quite a nice tray and easy to pop of top for cleaning. Some litter still comes out the front when my cat is enthusiastic but much less than before and not all the time. Her previous tray was slightly wider but she used this immediately and seems happy with it. **Q: Is this a non-stick litter box?** A: Hello Nazz, Thank you for your interest in our Cat Litter Box CLH-12. The main material of the product is Polypropylene or plastic which means it reduces the probability of any other materials sticking into it.
