I buy a lot of these for my drawing students. It is a very fine marking device. If you are doing incredibly fine detail work, this pen is your friend. It's fragile and the nib will break off with a sneeze. **Q: Are these markers solvent resistant ?** A: Yes! They are! Pigma archival quality inks are designed to resist many solvents. Google "colinpurrington" for "Maintaining a laboratory notebook". It does a fantastic job comparing the inks across many manufacturers. **Q: How long do these last in storage? And if done so properly?** A: I have had some of mine I have not used for a year and they are fine.
