Kent soap doesn't fit inside the bowl
The bowl diameter is too small for Kent /Mitchell's wood fat soap. You will need to load soap in something else and then create lather in the bowl. This is the same bowl others sell for much cheaper.

Shaving mug
This is a must for cup soap and brush. It's got plenty of room the for the brush to make lather before application. It's heavy enough to stay put too. Very traditional I must add. I'm glad I bought it.
